Senior Government Relations Advisor

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid work available)


Salary Range: $155,000–$180,000/year, plus performance bonus

About the Role:
 You’ll advocate for clients’ interests in legislative and regulatory environments, building and maintaining relationships with policymakers, preparing materials for hearings, and supporting coalition-building. You should be driven by results, have a strong understanding of government processes, and bring experience in public policy or advocacy.

This role is flexible as an external/freelance position if applicable, based in Washington DC with travel overseas required on a project-specific basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on relevant legislative and regulatory developments
  • Prepare briefings, testimony, and internal communications
  • Build relationships with government officials, stakeholders, and partners
  • Support client meetings, advocacy campaigns, and events
  • Coordinate and lead coalition initiatives
  • Map key stakeholders and regulatory atmospheres

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, law, political science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in government relations, advocacy, or policy analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative spirit with demonstrated initiative
  • Commitment to ethical advocacy and professional discretion

About the Role:
 Support our teams by conducting policy, industry, and competitor research. You’ll contribute to intelligence briefings, benchmarking studies, and campaign development and have the opportunity to present findings to colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and synthesize research from multiple sources
    Prepare concise reports and presentations
  • Monitor trends in policy, business, and advocacy
  • Assist in survey work, focus groups, and polling projects
  • Participate in proposal development and project coordination

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Analytical or research discipline preferred)
    2+ years professional experience in research, intelligence, or consulting
  • Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Eagerness to learn; open to new ideas and perspectives

About the Role:
 Manage and enhance the digital presence for our clients and our firm. You’ll create campaign strategies, analyze audience metrics, draft creative content, and collaborate with communications and government relations teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and optimize digital campaigns across platforms
  • Analyze online engagement and generate regular reports
  • Create and schedule compelling content for web and social media
  • Work directly with service leads to support campaigns and initiatives
    Stay current on digital trends, tools, and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, communications, or related discipline preferred)
  • 1+ years of professional experience in digital marketing or communications
  • Portfolio or samples of digital work required with application
  • Experience with analytics, content creation, and platform management
  • Strong creative and analytical skills
